When the neo-swing craze of the 1990s took America by storm, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was knee-deep in it. The Southern California band became one of the movement's darlings when two of its songs – "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)" and "Go Daddy-O" were featured in 1996's “Swingers,” which starred a young Vince Vaughn and Jon Faveau.
Since then, the band has toured the world bringing their modern swing to stages with the fervor of the Tasmanian Devil. You can see for yourself when the band plays the Holland Center, 12th and Douglas streets, next week on Thursday, Oct. 10. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $25 to $65, and can be had by calling 402-345-0606 (ticketomaha.com).
