Back in the summer of 1996, Reel Big Fish hooked a major hit with "Sell Out." The song put the horn-fueled Southern California band on the map, but as far as mainstream success, that was their one-hit wonder.

So why is Reel Big Fish still relevant? Because the ska-punk band has lived on, and rocked on, through steady touring, great shows, and a loyal school of followers.

On TUESDAY (March 25), the band – with one remaining original member, frontman Aaron Barrett – will make its way to the Waiting Room for a show that will no doubt cement their cult status.

And they have had other popular songs, BTW. "Beer" is one. And "Where Have You Been?" is another. Plus, their very skariffic version of A-ha's "Take On Me" is a show staple.

Suburban Legends & Beebs and Her Money Makers open the 8 p.m. show.
