"Sam, a one-hit-wonder songwriter, has been married to his original muse, Rose, for 25 years. But lately, Sam’s obsessive hunt for his next hit song has smoldered their romantic spark. On their anniversary cruise, Sam jumps overboard when he is lured by the most incredible song coming from the sea. While washed ashore, he encounters a video Solitaire-playing Siren who has stepped out of Greek mythology and into modern times. She helps him remember why Rose is, and always has been, the love of his life."
So goes the description to the latest production at the Omaha Community Playhouse, 6915 Cass St., which is now playing on the Howard Drew stage.
Will Sam and Rose fall in love all over again? Find out at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 22.
