What: “Play Me, I’m Yours” Project
Where: All over Omaha, see link to map below
If you've ever been strolling down the street thinking to yourself, "Boy, I sure wish there was a piano here because I feel like busting out a rendition of 'Sweet Caroline' right now," then you're in luck.
Ten pianos – including the colorful one above – are on location throughout the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area as part of the "Play Me, I'm Yours" project. The pianos, which have been uniquely designed by local artists, will be out in public through Sept. 8 for all to enjoy. From Elkhorn to Council Bluffs, the keys are there for the tapping.
The international "Play Me, I'm Yours" project began in 2008 and has since placed more than 800 pianos in 36 cities across the globe, from NYC to Sydney, Australia.
