The Storz House – home to Omaha beer magnate Gottlieb Storz – is one of the mansions that the Durham Museum-led River City History Tour will stop at on TUESDAY (Sept. 3) during its "Millionaires & Mansions South Gold Coast" trek.
The tour – which leaves the Durham Museum, 801 S. 10th St., at 6 p.m. – will go to landmarks like the Blackstone Hotel, the home of Arthur and Zerlina Brandies and the mansion that belonged to Storz (pictured above), whose name has recently been in the news.
Earlier this month, it was announced that John Markel, great-grandson of Gottlieb Storz and his cousin, Tom Markel, are reviving the Storz beer brand. They're also opening the Storz Trophy Room Grill and Brewery in the space formerly occupied by Rick's Cafe Boatyard.
