Could two guys – one African American and one Jewish American – solve the rift between the two communities using puppets and jokes about soul food and JUDAR (the ability that Jews have to spot other Jews)?

Emmy-award winner Ron Jones and veteran performer Larry Jay Tish are hoping they can do just that with their two-man play The Black- Jew Dialogues, which will be presented at the Kaneko on SATURDAY (Feb. 22).

The two say they will take the audience on a hysterical and poignant ride through three days they spent together in a cheap hotel room discussing their own experiences, the history of their people, and why there has been a growing tension between the two groups since the early '70s.

Skits, a gameshow theme, guys dressed as old ladies, puppets. What's not to like?
