The king of pop right now in the Latin music world, Prince Royce, brings nine No. 1 singles, including his latest "Soy El Mismo," to the Stior Cove on Wednesday, August 20th.
The Brooklyn, New York-born Prince Royce sings mostly in Spanish, but plans to break into the English-speaking market later this year with the release of a mostly English album. Not that it matters. The music and Prince Royce's smooth chops transcend language barriers. It's a style of pop, rhythm and blues and romantically fueled Latin bachata that has won over millions.
Consider that his video for "Darte un Beso" has had 331 million views, his video for "Incondicional" has had 102 million views and his video for "El Amor Que Perdimos," 41 million views. The dude is popular.
You can get an idea of what makes Prince Royce such a draw by watching his video to "Corazon Sin Cara," complete with a 15-second Spanish version of a State Farm commercial prior to the video. Y como un buen vecino, State Farm está ahí. Click here.
