If you need me on Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon I'll be at the Old Historic Dairy Farm, 315 S. 192nd St. in West Omaha where the annual Junkstock Festival will be held.

I LOVE junk. Or, at least, what some people consider junk. I call it lost treasures. I'm no Macklemore, but I do love getting popped-tag deals on stuff nobody else wants. Junk? Maybe. But it's MY junk.

Cool old stuff for sale won't be the only reason I'll be going to Junkstock. As much as I can't wait to sift through the collections of the various junk vendors that will be on location Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 21, 22, and 23), I also want to catch shows by some of the Omaha area's most prized roots rockers, blues artists and folky singer-songwriters. There's a full lineup each day.

Admission to Junkstock is $5 per day, or $12 for all three days. You'll know you're there when you see the hippiefied VW bus shown above. See the link below to get all the details on vendors, musicians and happenings at Junkstock.
