What: The Deadly Gentlemen, with Up On The Hill and the Talbott Brothers
When: 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 14
Where: Waiting Room, 6212 Maple St.
With mandolin, banjo and fiddle leading the charge for the Deadly Gentlemen, you might peg the band for a blue-grassy country act. But this Americana roots band doesn’t fit snuggly in that hole. Based out of Boston, the Deadly Gentlemen bring a vibrant, youthful energy to the stage –one that is equally at home pounding out classic-sounding original folk-country as it is playing an extended jam of classic rock ditties from the likes of the Grateful Dead.
You can hear this intriguing mix of melodies on Wednesday, August 13, at the Waiting Room when the Deadly Gentlemen perform. Opening the show at 9 p.m. will be Up On The Hill and The Talbott Brothers. You can get an earful of what the Deadly Gentlemen are all about by watching the video “Introducing the Deadly Gentlemen,” which is linked below.
