There's corn fritters, cream of corn, corn salsa, corn pudding, corn bread, corn salad, corn risotto, pickled corn ...But I gotta stand by the classic corn-on-the-cob as my favorite way to eat corn. Butter, salt-and-pepper, we're good!

And if you're a corn-on-the cob-head like me (who's with me, Husker Nation?), then you'll probably make a stop this weekend at Lauritzen Gardens' Sweet Corn Festival.

Several varieties of sweet corn, hayrack rides, live music, corny crafts, cooking demonstrations and lots of family-friendly events are scheduled at Lauritzen Gardens on Sunday, August 10th.
