If words like "ace," "spike," and "kill" get your blood pumping, then you'll want to be at the Ralston Arena, 73rd and Q streets, beginning MONDAY (Sept. 16) when the 2013 Women's NORCECA Championship begins.
The volleyball organization (NORCECA: North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation) is responsible for, among other things, staging Olympic and World Championship zone qualification tournaments, as well as Continental championships for both men and women in indoor and beach volleyball.
Translation: You should see some quality volleyball next week in Omaha.
There are matches each day, culminating with the championship on Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. You can buy a pass for the entire tournament for $250, or go session-by-session at $25-$30.
