I'm a hands-on guy. I like giving hugs. Like receiving them, too. I enjoy a good high five, fist bump, slap on the back, whatever – no touching phobia here.
BUT ... I'm pee-in-my-pants petrified of being grabbed in the pitch-black darkness of a haunted house. Gives me the willies. Makes me über uncomfortable. Don't like it. Never have, never will.
That being said, if you aren't a wimp like me, and if you enjoy a good scare, this is probably your favorite time of the year. Omaha area haunted houses are open for frights, and there are plenty to be had.
You can find a great list (with links) to the most popular haunted houses at visitomaha.com.
If you really want to be scared, listen to this: Nightmare on Q Street – at Fun-Plex, "70th and Q, dude" – has what it claims is the "Midwest's only money back haunt – make it through and get all of your money back!"
