Omaha-based ConAgra Foods & NBC say Friday nights are a good time for families to spend time together for TV viewing.

The two say NBC's new program "Crusoe" and Orville Redenbacher popcorn are a perfect combination for an evening of quality, family time.

Stan Jacot, vice president and general manager of ConAgra foods says, "This partnership is a great opportunity to showcase the social quality of a bowl of Orville Redenbacher's popcorn by emphasizing the way popcorn and quality television programming from NBC can bring people together and create a special moment."

NBC has incorporated the popcorn brand in its publicity surrounding the new program. The promotion is being planned long term.

"Crusoe" can be seen on WOWT-TV Channel 6 from 8-9pm every Friday.
