Here’s a look at what’s happening at some of the “Irishy-named” bars in town:
168th and Center: 4 p.m., Pipes & Drums Irish music; 1-5 p.m. the Fishheads will perform their coveted party music; and 7-midnight, blues-makers Blue House will rock the house.
114th and Dodge: 2 p.m., Pipes & Drums; noon-4 p.m., Hittin Skinz; 4-8 p.m., Averisious; 8-midnight, Rough Cut. Inside, there will be a DJ and Irish music all day and night.
72nd and Pacific: 5 p.m., Pipes & Drums; noon-5 p.m., Giga-D; 5-midnight, DJ.

The Guinness – and pretty much every other kind of beer – will be flowing at one of Omaha’s most popular St. Patrick’s Day hangouts.

Party like a paddy and like a saint over four days at the “St. Pat’s Blowout” Bash at Two Fine Irishmen. On St. Patrick’s Day, doors open at 6 a.m. for green eggs and ham, corned beef and cabbage, Irish Nachos and lots of other specials. Omaha’s Pipe& Drums will play at 1, 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.; Hidden Agenda plays from 2-5 p.m., and Lemon Fresh Day performs from 9:30 p.m. until the party is over.

The Dubliner opens at 6 a.m., and is know for serving Lucky Charms cereal and Guinness. Yum! Live music starts at 2 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day.

It’s always a party at the Marylebone Taverns, where they traditionally paint a giant shamrock on the street in front of the bar.
Brazen Head Irish Pub

Live music, drink specials and dancing and food are all part of the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at this midtown Irish pub.

The Corn is always hopping’ during St. Partrick’s Day. The pub and patio open at 8 a.m. and will be serving corned beef hash, eggs and sausage. The Castle opens at 11 a.m. for a stew and corned beef sandwich lunch.
