Sarpy Election Reminder: Turn In Absentee Ballots
The Sarpy County Election Commission would like to remind the 1,850 voters who have yet to return their absentee ballot, that all early votes envelopes must be physically in the Election Office by the time the polls close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Voters must return the envelope to the office as early ballot cannot be accepted at any polling site.
“This record breaking turnout for early voting has surpassed all expectations”, said Sarpy County Election Commissioner Wayne Bena in a news release. “There have been six thousand more voters already in this election than voted in the entire 2012 Primary Election earlier this year.”
Polls in Sarpy County, like the rest of Nebraska, are open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
