Lofte Community Theatre
It is Christmas Eve and waitresses Bell, Holly and Joy are preparing to head home from Leon’s Roadside Café when a massive snow storm hits, stranding not only them but a bus filled with cranky holiday travelers. Can the girls serve up a big helping of holiday cheer? Will anyone make it home in time for Christmas? Colorful characters like the quirky bus driver, who has a secret, a radio announcer that likes eggnog a little too much and, of course, Leon…the crabby owner of the diner will all try to make the best of a bad situation. Laughter and a heart warming story plus original music by Mick Kovar are all on the menu for the Lofte’s world premiere of Christmas At Leon’s. Reserved seating $16

Jakes' Women
Aug 27, 2010 - Sep 12, 2010 Fridays & Saturdays, 730PM; Sundays 2PM
Lofte Community Theatre
America’s premier comic playwright makes another hilarious foray into the world of modern relationships. Jake, a novelist who is more successful with fiction than with life, faces a marital crisis by daydreaming about the women in his life. The wildly comic and sometimes moving flashbacks played in his mind are interrupted by visitations from actual females. Jake’s women include his first wife who was killed in an accident, his daughter, his bossy sister, an opinionated analyst, his current wife who is leaving Jake, and a prospective third wife. Jake and his women definitely deliver some of the funniest lines of the season. Reserved seating $16
