I often feel like the Easter Bunny before Halloween. I search and search for a spot to hide candy, but in this case it's so no one finds it!

Our children are completely in the clear on this, it's my husband who wants to open a bag for "just a piece or two". It's funny how quickly that can multiply and before you know it a whole bag is gone.

Like most kids, my children love to be in on secrets. I showed them my hiding spot a few days ago and they've kept the word. Trick or treaters who stop by our house should have plenty to choose from!

If your ghosts and goblins simply have too much candy on their hands after Halloween, consider heading to Today's Dental. Again this year the dentists will pay children for each pound of candy they turn in. The treats will be sent out in care packages for military men and women serving our country. Today's Dental is located at 14406 Harrison Street. For more information call 333-1120.

Have a Happy Halloween!

Tracy

We don't even buy candy to hand out anymore! Instead we buy something our family doesn't like...that way it's sure to last until at least Halloween. In the past we've bought Rice Krispie treats, fruit snacks, etc. I always worried buying candy because of all of the different allergies that seem to be out there too. It's a fun holiday, but for kids with certain allergies, it can be dangerous.
