This is the week that AC/DC will make their stop in Omaha!! While I may not be as devoted a fan as most concert goers will be this Thursday Night, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see a musical act of their reputation. I may not have the broadest knowledge of music and I am fairly young but I have had the opportunity to see a few good concerts. Metallica, 3 Doors Down, and George Strait are a few that stick in my mind. With Omaha being a prime stop in the Midwest for many concert tours, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to catch a few acts that I may not have given a second thought to in the past. Are their any concerts tours that I need to keep an eye out for future stops here in Omaha? |

His concerts are always a lot of fun and very uptempo, plus there is a lot of energy there too!! Posted by: L. Later this month, Cursive (from Omaha) is playing a show at the Slowdown. They are angular rock and have toured the US and Europe, been in Rolling Stone and other national music magazines and are very highly reviewed. Then this spring, the Hold Steady will be in Omaha. They have a sound somewhat similar to Bruce Springsteen. I urge you to check out the Slowdown, the Waiting Room and other Omaha venues that don't seat thousands. Posted by: mj Just a note.
