This time the Super Bowl game outshines the commercials.

So many times the actual game has fallen short of the hype and the commercials provided the most entertainment.

Not this time with a 100-yard interception return by Pittsburgh's James Harrison, the Cardinals great comeback to take the lead with less than 3:00 to go, and finally the sensational game-winning catch by Santonio Holmes of the Steelers.

But there were some stand-out commercials and here are my top three in reverse order:

3. Car.Com - David Haverman is the newborn baby who congratulated the Doctor in the delivery room, told the much much older girl in school to call him and she did, and later performed open heart surgery on the Opera stage with a ball point pen.

2. Monster.Com - The executive working in his office under the moose head and the worker on the other side of wall sitting at his desk with the other end of the Moose directly over head.

1. ETrade - The stock-trading baby giving tips to another baby at the computer who wants to "flex his pipes" with a song.  In the second half the stock-trading baby is in the golf locker room setting one of the members straight for not knowing the rules when his golf ball came to rest on the cart path. "Why don't you try reading the rules, Shank-a-pottamus!"

Overall there were not as many memorable ads but that has something to do with the fact it was one of the best games in Super Bowl history.

One other observation in another category, the biggest disappointment:  Arizona lost.

Still, Knicely Done!
