Just a few of the fish caught on Lake Erie with our fishing with Flowers winner Dan Ginn and his father Don.  100 lbs of walleye fillets brought back with a great time had by all.  Thanks for a great trip Dan and Don!  It was a great father and son experience for both of us, my son Patrick had a great time as well.

For more information about our charter service  and all the amenities, which were great, check out the information above.

Posted by: Jim Flowers The walleye is absolutely incredible. The smallmouth fishing in the fall might be even better. I've yet to try it but our guide Mark Cahlik says there's nothing like it. Quite a turnaround for a lake that was all but dead 20 years ago.

I go to lake erie every year. We fish out of Geneva State park marina. Your right its the best walleye fishing in the u. s. each year i bring back over a hundred lbs of walleye. my biggest was a 16 pounder. '

You should go catfish fishing in the Maumee River in Toledo next time you head out that way. I grew up in Toledo. There's some monsters in that river. Walleye spawn in it too I believe.

Could not have happened to a pair of nicer guys. You two are awesome and I am glad you had such a great time! A little easier than taking a canoe through the wilds to Canada to get some walleye.

John, you are right. I have fished walleye all around the US and Canada, and Lake Erie is by far the best Walleye fishing I have ever experienced. The size, amount, and consistency of the fish was amazing. I think I am forever hooked on going back. I wish it was a little closer. We had a great time with Jim Flowers and everyone up there. Thanks again for the great experience!

I was born and raised in Omaha NE. Moved to Rockwood MI in 2005, for my job with the USPS. My Job and Fishing Lake Erie has been the only injoyments living in MI. Walleyes in the Detroit River and Lake Erie is the best walley fishing around. I did walleye in NE, but its not close to the fishing in Lake Erie. Good luck to all the fishingmen in NE. But if like walleyes Lake Erie is the place to go.
