The IT department.

Information Technology.

You know, the folks we call when our work computer doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

Usually, they tap a couple of buttons on the keyboard and the problem is fixed within seconds.

The IT department at ConAgra does that and a whole lot more.

Recently I hosted the United Way's "Day of Caring" at the food giant's world headquarters.  It was rainy outside so it was held in the cafeteria.

The entertainment came from a group called the Slim Jim Blues Ensemble.  They sounded great.

Little did I know the group is made up of the ConAgra IT department.  It's a hobby of sorts for them.

Of the 10 people in the band, 9 of them are in the IT department and the other married into it.

So next time you have a computer issue and make the phone call for help, imagine if only they could perform at the company picnic.
