I still remember sitting in the living room of Lynn Castrianno's Omaha home on September 12, 2001. No one had heard from her brother, Leonard, who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in the Twin Towers in New York City. Lynn and her family soon drove to New York to be closer to family and closer to answers. He didn't survive. I talk with her a couple times a year. She's been active in issues related to 9/11. She's getting ready to put up more than 3,000 flags at Memorial Park tomorrow. Each one is personal. Each one has a story to tell. Volunteers with St. James/Seton School, Creighton Prep, the Rotary Club and the Exchange Club will help. It's the 8th year Lynn has done this and I know many people are thankful for her efforts to commemorate and remember publicly. Above is the interview I did with her today on First News Live at Four about the flags and the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
