The snowmen have been especially resilient this year.  I was going to write this story a couple weeks ago but now I'm glad I held off.

There's an engineering marvel in our neighborhood.  Sure we've seen dozens of snowmen thrive this year with the limited sunshine.  But two weeks ago, this is how a large snowman appeared.  He appeared to be in his final moments of survival.

Two weeks later, he's still alive.  It appears he has some steel holding him up but doesn't not.  How does he defy gravity?

Today was a sad day.  His torso is still in tact but not the head.  We weren't sure the day would ever come.  I wonder if the rest of it will still be here in June.
