Oil and water don't mix.  How about cellphones and water?

I always hear these stories time and again about dropping a cellphone in the lake or pool or even the toilet.

That's what happened to my sister the other day.  The phone fell out of her pocket as she flushed.

We thought it was a lost cause until we called it.  It was stuck in the drain pipe in the basement.  We could hear it vibrate in the pipe.

The phone itself was probably toast but we thought at least maybe if we get it out of there, my sister could salvage the phone numbers.

Eventually, we created enough water pressure with the tub and toilet and caught the phone with a net in the release valve.

It was all for nothing.  The phone, even after letting the battery and electronics dry out, never fired up again.

At least I can hold this over my sister for a while!!!!
