The family of Isaac Hall, an 8-year old from Bellevue who died of leukemia on New Year's Eve, took one of our mini-cameras last month to Florida.  They wanted to document Isaac's last wish -- to have his ashes scattered in the Atlantic Ocean.  He thought it was as big as God.

As is with most stories, there were several interesting elements that never made it into the television story.  Time is the biggest reason for that.

One of those tidbits came up time and again on this trip.  Isaac's lucky number was 7.  He was born on 7/7 and his seventh birthday came in 2007.  He was born close to 7 pounds just before 7 o'clock and was the 7th baby born at the hospital. 

The family traveled to Florida during the week of what would have been Isaac's 9th birthday.  Here are some of the signs they believe show that an angel was watching over them.

The speed limit at the their hotel: 7mph.  Their rental car parked in space 77.  His father found a necklace with a clover and the number 7.

The family felt his presence every step of the way.
