I now know what it's like when Jack Nicholson drives.

The other night I tore one of my contacts.  I didn't have my glasses with me -- but I did have my prescription sunglasses in the car.

So -- at 11pm -- I'm driving down Dodge Street with my sunglasses on -- looking cool or stupid, depending on your vantage point.

I could see just fine actually.  The glasses aren't very dark and they did cut down on the glare of the glowing sign that always freaks me out at 90th and Dodge.  I always think there's an ambulance or something dramatic coming down the street.

Next time, I won't forget my glasses backup.
