It's no secret that morons help pay bills in the news business in an indirect way.  Their actions undoubtedly end up as stories.

Often, those stories are the most widely read.

I thought we were going to have another one of those stories last night.

As I'm driving home from work on the Dodge Expressway, two people are running across the pavement across from Bakers just shy of 156th Street.  Yes -- they were running across the expressway.

I can't begin to understand what they were thinking but they almost got hit by a motorcycle and, in turn, me.

In this part of town, I'm always aware of the potential for deer crossing, not people.
