My son, who has a cold, told me today that he has "Hot snot."

I wasn't sure I heard him right so I asked him to repeat it.

Yep.  He said it.  "Hot snot."

Makes sense I guess.

He said a regular runny nose was cold.

But now he had the hot stuff.  And it usually ended up on the sleeves of his shirt more often than a Kleenex.

One more thing -- he said it tasted good too!

Is that my gene pool?
