I begin each day at the office with pencil and paper. We write down various facts and numbers and then use various techniques to find a consensus for the forecast.  The point is that we use pencils, and as you know, they need to be sharpened. Our pencil sharper would got overheated and then shut down. Last week I kindly asked for a new pencil sharpener, but I never thought the request would go through.

However, when I came into work today I noticed a sleek new addition to our array of office supplies.  What was it? If you guessed a new pencil sharpen, you are right! It even takes batteries, so it is transportable in the x,y and z. I was so stoked that I sharpened all the pencils in the weather center. They are seriously sharp and ready for storm forecasting!
