A trick I learned in Texas is to repair dents from hail damage on a roof, hood, or trunk is to wait for a nice hot sunny day and place an ice cube in each dent. By the time the ice melts the dent pops out. My car had well over 100 golf ball sized dents -- ALL of them were fixed using this method.
