Shoplifting & Urination Charges

Gary Smollen

A Heartland woman faces a number of charges after a bizarre scene plays out in front of customers at the Crossroads Mall. It started with an alleged shoplifting and quickly turned much worse. Omaha Police were called to the Bath & Body Works store on Friday, November 13th just before 5PM to help with a shoplifter. When officers arrived they found more of a mess than they expected. According to the reports two women were observed placing items into their purses and then tried to leave the store. One got away, the second allegedly put up a fight. While struggling with a mall security guard the shoplifting suspect somehow managed to break free, and according to the report, dropped her pants and began to urinate on the floor. Officers arrested Eieatia Knave, 28 for disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, and shoplifting. The report states two bottles of lotion and a bottle of perfume were recovered from her purse. Officers at the scene describe Knave as "highly intoxicated."
