Third quarter Keno earnings released.
The information comes from the latest Quarterly City/County Lottery Activity Report released through the Nebraska Department of Revenue. (The state collects its information from the licensees.)
The Cassgram reports the first total is for 7/1 through 9/30 2009 followed by comparisons from the same quarter in 2008 in [ ].
Plattsmouth- $588,101/[$684,739]
Cedar Creek- $52,000/[$62,582]
Eagle- $66,605/[$51,505]
Avoca- $31,902/[$38,381]
Louisville- $30,424/[$36,012]
Greenwood- $14,733/[$18,977]
Cass County- $38,437/[first month of operation was July, 2009]
The statewide city/county totals- $43,352,362/[$49,886,795]
Among cities with keno lotteries, the Plattsmouth gaming activity ranked 15th in the state in the quarter.
----Although it can vary per agreement, a typical keno operation in Nebraska has a 76% pay-out to players, 14% to the operator and locations, 8% to the sponsoring city/county and 2% to the state.
