Tryst Leads to DUI Charge

A 22-year-old Omaha woman was cited for DUI after she was allegedly having sex in a car in downtown Omaha.
According to police reports, around 12:30 Tuesday morning, neighbors reported seeing the woman in a car near 12th and Jackson straddling a 25-year-old Council Bluffs man “in a sexual manner.”
The report states the woman’s shirt was off and her bra was undone while she was positioned over the man who was seated on the passenger’s side of a 1993 Buick Park Avenue.
Officers noticed a strong smell of alcohol on the woman’s breath and other signs of intoxication…bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. She failed a field sobriety test and her blood alcohol content was listed at .182.
Officers also found a prescription bottle with suspected marijuana inside in the car.
The man was cited for lewd conduct. The woman was cited for DUI, lewd conduct and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
She was cited for DUI because the car was running when officers caught them in the act.
